Living Out The Dream

We are ordinary. God is extraordinary. Guided by our love for God and others, we have established the Osborn Optical Community Fund, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) Corporation, dedicated to strengthening our families and our community. OUR VISION is that Fairborn would be revolutionized in a supernatureal way, bringing it alive with contemporary vitality and beauty. OUR MISSION is to see extraordinary life change by fostering a culture in Fairborn that provides the framework for meaningful, healthy relationships. Together, we can achieve something remarkable...not for ourselves, but for others.

Fashion Eyewear

No two patients have the same prescription and visual needs, or use their eyewear in exactly the same way. This simple fact, plus the number of lens designs and materials options available, makes care by a licensed optician essential. Advances in ophthalmological equipment have replaced patient consideration, streamlined services and made office visits quite cost effective but left the patient and the optician strangers when filling your prescription. We are meeting these challenges by being different and better. Our Frame & Lenses To Go! Mobile Opticianry Services meet you where you are-home or office-to satisfy your unique visual needs and simplify your life. Now serving Greene County in Ohio.

Occupational Safety

Are regular prescription glasses safe enough for work? The short answer: no. Prescription glasses designed for wear outside the workplace do not provide the protection necessary for occupational hazards. Prescription glasses do not comply with OSHA requirements just because sideshields are attached. Polycarbonate lenses alone do not make a dress frame into a safety frame-the lenses and the frame must meet specific requirements to qualify as protective eyewear and to comply with OSHA. Protective eyewear must meed specific requirements to comply with OSHA. Protect your eyes. Our Eyes At Work! On-Site Prescription Safety Program can help. Now serving Darke, Shelby, Logan, Preble, Miami, Champaign, Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Hamilton and Clermont counties in Ohio.

Vision Rehabilitation

"Never tell a patient there is nothing more to be done. Rehabilitation is always an option."~Helen Keller. Do you (or someone you know) have Low Vision because of: Macular Degeneration? Diabetic Retinopathy? Glaucoma? Retinitis Pigmentosa? Cataracts? The first step in rehabilitation of low vision is to maximize vision by any refractive error correction that is required. The second step is to compensate for the remaining and uncorrectable visual impairment with vision assistive devices or equipment. Our Go! Big In-Home Patient Services can help! Now serving Darke, Shelby, Logan, Preble, Miami, Champaign, Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Butler, Warren, Clinton, Hamilton and Clermont counties in Ohio.
